Highlights for the event will include:
- Opportunities to meet one-on-one with professors in your field of interest
- Informational sessions from UNC graduate students on applying for prospective American Indian students
- Tour of campus
- Evening cultural event
Lodging
Students will receive free lodging (double occupancy) at a hotel in the Chapel Hill area. Those interested in single rooms will be asked to pay any differences in costs incurred.
Registration
The registration deadline for attending the recruitment event is Monday, March 16th. Please send in your application as soon as possible to allow enough time to set up visits with your departments/schools of interest.
Financial Aid
Financial aid
is available to help with costs of attending the recruitment event. If you feel you qualify for assistance, please complete the form and return as soon as possible to expedite your assistance. Awards are given on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Applicants will be reimbursed for approved expenses per the award. (Please note that reimbursements take three to four weeks to process. The sooner the application is approved and awarded, the sooner the refund.)
