SPGRE- The 2008 Summer Pre-Graduate Research Experience Program offers undergraduate students throughout the country the opportunity to work full time on research projects under the direction of UNC-Chapel Hill faculty members. Applications due 2/19/08.

American Indian Graduate Student Recruitment Event: September 28, 2007; The Graduate School; An opportunity for prospective American Indian graduate students to visit with Carolina graduate students and faculty and learn about graduate education opportunities and strategies.
Students Visit from Johnson C. Smith University: Tuesday, October 16, 2007, 10:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.; Graduate Student Center, 211A West Cameron Ave.
Campus Visit by SPGRE students: Thursday, November 15, 2007; Graduate Student Center, 211A West Cameron Ave.; Students who participated in this past summer's SPGRE program and who are seniors applying to UNC-Chapel Hill for graduate admission are invited back to the campus to take part in a two-day event to make certain that Carolina is the “right fit.” Students will meet with faculty from their respective Departments and have sessions with the Graduate School and current graduate students.
