Royster fellow Jason Priem displays poster at White House
September 30, 2013
Jason Priem, Ph.D. student at the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Information and Library Science (SILS), was recently given the opportunity to take his work all the way to the White House. Priem was invited as one of 13 selected to present his research at the White House's “Champions of Change” program celebrating Open Science.
He holds the Caroline H. and Thomas S. Royster Fellowship within The Graduate School's Royster Society of Fellows. This select interdisciplinary fellowship program attracts exceptional graduate students from around the world, provides generous financial funding, offers unique opportunities to excel and creates innovative approaches to scholarship.
Priem, along with his project partner Heather Piwowar, presented a poster on a program they created called ImpactStory.
