Admissions Average Scores

The data below represent average GPA and standardized test scores for admitted students to our graduate programs. Test scores are only one piece of a completed admission application and are reviewed together with all other submitted materials. The Graduate School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill encourages applications from all interested students regardless of test scores.

Data represent the GRE score scale of 130 – 170 and the TOEFL score scale of 0 – 120 with each subset of 0 – 30.
