Non-degree studies

You can take classroom courses for credit at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. All courses are credit-granting and will become part of your permanent record at UNC-Chapel Hill.

You do not need to have previously taken college-level courses or have earned a college degree to enroll as a non-degree student; however, admission to UNC-Chapel Hill as a non-degree student is required.
