Graduation Deadlines
To apply for graduation:
Complete the Graduation check-out page in ConnectCarolina's Self Service area:
Log in to MYUNC → Connect Carolina → In your Student Center, under the "Academic" tab, choose "Apply for Graduation" in the drop-down box, and then click the double arrows.
May 2013
- Friday, February 15, 2013:
- Last day for Graduate Students to apply to graduate in ConnectCarolina
- Monday, April 8, 2013 before 4 PM:
- Due date for submission of electronic doctoral dissertations and master's theses
- Saturday, May 11, 2013:
- Doctoral Hooding Ceremony
- Sunday, May 12, 2013:
- University Commencement Ceremony
- Degree Award Date for May graduates
August 2013
- Tuesday, July 9, 2013:
- Last day for Graduate Students to apply to graduate in ConnectCarolina
- Tuesday, July 16, 2013 before 4 PM:
- Due date for submission of electronic doctoral dissertations and master's theses
- Tuesday, August 6, 2013:
- Degree Award Date for August graduates
December 2013
- Friday, September 27, 2013:
- Last day for Graduate Students to apply to graduate in ConnectCarolina
- Monday, November 18, 2013 before 4 PM:
- Due date for submission of electronic doctoral dissertations and master's theses
- Sunday, December 15, 2013:
- Mid-Year Commencement for August and December graduates
- Degree Award Date for December graduates

- Monday, July 16, 2012 before 4 PM:
