Welcoming UNC-Chapel Hill's International Graduate Students

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is the academic "home" for more than 9,000 graduate students. Making up nearly 30 percent of the University's total student population, graduate students find many ways to contribute to our campus, to North Carolina and to the world. Our University is a collaborative and welcoming community. As a part of that "Carolina welcome," we want to share important information to help international students learn about life at our University and within the local community.

Through these three videos, you will hear important information – from the perspective and experiences of international graduate students at Carolina – about finding a new place to live and helping your family members settle into their new community. You'll also learn about important academic policies, health insurance, academic resources that support your success and professional development opportunities. Thank you for your interest in UNC-Chapel Hill. Please do not hesitate to follow up with The Graduate School for additional information or with any questions.
